What is JavaScript?
JavaScript is a popular language used on many modern websites, (in addition to the standard HTML language,) which allows the site to respond to user input and display site content in more advanced ways. Typically the website will contain special instructions written in JavaScript language and the user's web browsing software can carry out those instructions to achieve the desired results.
Each visitor/user has the choice of enabling or disabling this functionality in their web browsing software, (i.e., Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox, etc.) With Scripting disabled or not supported, the user's browser will simply ignore the sites' special instructions and not perform those tasks. If the site does not offer alternative (non-JavaScript) methods to view pages, navigate, and accomplish tasks, the user may be left unable to participate.
Here at ProAux.com many of our auction features rely heavily on the advanced functionality that JavaScript offers. We hope you will recognize this to be a trusted site for JavaScript management. We are a reputable eCommerce business with verified contact information at many other larger sites. Nothing on our site will harm your computer or snoop through private data. We only use JavaScript to enhance auction serviceability. If you feel the need to protect yourself on the Internet, please consider that you can manually re-disable your Scripting feature again after leaving our site. Some browsers even allow fixed custom settings for a list of trusted sites.
